The Gift

and it's really free...

Many people believe that in order to go to heaven, you have to be good enough. But how good is good enough? The Bible states: “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23) and “There is no one who does good, no, not one” (Psalm 53:3).

God is so holy and just that He could not simply overlook our sins without a punishment being made for them. But God, in his great love for mankind, being both fully righteous and loving, sent his Son Jesus to die on a cross as a substitute for our sins. The Bible states:

“He (Jesus) was wounded for our transgressions
Bruised for our iniquities
The punishment for our peace was upon him
And by his wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).

God’s gift of eternal life is just that—a gift. It cannot be earned or worked for and it has nothing to do with what you may or may not have done in your life. It need only be received and believed by faith. God doesn’t go against our free will, and His love calls our heart back to Him in trust for our salvation.

God sent his Son to save mankind and in so doing, He changes lives from the inside out—giving eternal life, hope, comfort and love. His gift is for you. Won’t you say “Yes” to Jesus and receive by faith his free gift of eternal life? It’s that easy…and it’s really free.

Without Jesus, how will you stand before a holy and just God for your sins—even the smallest of them? The Bible says, “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14). With Jesus, all your sins are paid in full through His sacrifice of Himself in your place, thus making you holy in God’s sight.

“Whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”
(Romans 10:13).

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
